5 down 1 to go
Hi Friends. This week I finished term 5. I have 6 terms and then I graduate. SO that means I have one term left and then, will be conferred with a degree. It was a good term, not quite as intense as the rest, which allowed for me to actually see my family and have a bit of time with them. The classes were more Biblical than translation related, though, I did have Translation II which was my favorite course by far this past term.
I finished up this week with 3 exams on Tues and Wed and now have been catching my breath a bit and doing a bit of family admin, before our exciting adventure begins on Sunday.
We will be taking our little 88 Corolla Station Wagon across the border to Tanzania and down down down to the southwest corner to visit friends and the place we expect to work after returning from furlough in Feb 2010. It is mostly paved (except for the many dirt detours where there is road construction). It will take us 2 1/2 days to get down there.
While in Mbeya we will have a meeting to find out more about what I will be doing next year and we will be house hunting. It will also be a fun time for Jamie to reunite with her friends and for them to see Junio again after so many years.
